Fire Spell: Cast
A ball of fire gathering in the hand while the spell charges: licking flames, embers spiralling in and a hot pulsing glow.
Assets › 3D
Spells, auras, portals and glyph circles: 25 game-ready 3D particle effects that look the same in Godot 4, GameMaker and Room 3D. Each one is layered by hand (cores, glows, smoke, sparks), timed to read at game distance, and comes with the light that goes with it: flickering glows for fires and portals, short flashes for blasts and hits. A ready Godot scene per effect, a GameMaker project with every effect as data, and Room 3D effect files with a showcase room.

A few of the effects as they come, rendered by the same shader maths that Godot, GameMaker and Room 3D use. The pack has 25: Fire Spell: Cast, Fire Spell: Fireball, Fire Spell: Impact, Ice Spell: Cast, Ice Spell: Frost Bolt, Ice Spell: Impact, Lightning Spell: Cast, Lightning Spell: Ball Lightning and more.
A ball of fire gathering in the hand while the spell charges: licking flames, embers spiralling in and a hot pulsing glow.
A fireball in flight: a blazing core, a trail of flame and smoke left hanging in the air behind it, and falling embers. Put it on the moving projectile (it flies along +Z).
A fireball bursting on impact: a flash, a ring of flame rolling out over the ground, fire billows, embers and a little smoke.
Frost gathering in the hand: snowflakes circling, a cold white-blue core, glinting ice crystals and a breath of freezing mist.
A frost bolt in flight: a bright icy core, a trail of snowflakes and frost mist drifting down behind it, and glints.
A frost bolt shattering: a cold flash, ice shards bursting out and falling, a cloud of frost and a flurry of snowflakes.
Electricity crackling round the hand: forked arcs flickering, a violet-white core and spitting sparks.
A crackling ball of lightning in flight: a white-hot core wrapped in flickering arcs, with a trail of sparks streaking off behind it.
A bolt of lightning striking from above: three quick forks, a blinding flash, a shock ring, sparks and arcs crawling over the ground, and a scorch of dust.
Poison brewing in the hand: green bubbles welling up and popping, a toxic mist coiling round and drips falling.
A glob of poison in flight: a glowing green blob, bubbles and toxic mist trailing behind, and drips falling from it.
A poison glob bursting: a green splat, bubbles flung out, droplets falling and a toxic cloud that lingers near the ground.
A soft green healing aura: a circle of light at the feet, plus signs and sparkles rising round the character, and a gentle glow.
A golden power-up aura: chevrons rising, streaks of light climbing round the character and a warm ring at the feet.
A weakening curse: purple chevrons sinking, a dark mist coiling round the feet and dim motes drifting down.
A character beaming in: sparkles rushing inward, a column of light rising from a ring on the ground, then a bright flash as they arrive.
A character beaming out: a bright flash, a column of light streaking upward and sparkles scattering and fading.
A swirling magic portal: two counter-turning vortices, a bright rim and motes drawn into its centre, with a pulsing violet light. It always faces the camera.
A summoning circle burning on the ground: two counter-turning rings of crimson light, runes floating up from it and embers rising through the middle.
A ring of glowing runes orbiting round a character at waist height, with a thin circle of light turning the other way: a ward, a spell being prepared, a bound target.
A trail of glittering sparkles left behind a moving wand, fairy, pickup or magic missile; they twinkle, drift down and fade.
A celebratory level-up burst: a golden flash, a ring racing out at the feet, beams of light shooting upward and stars bursting and drifting down.
A pulsing golden glow for a treasure chest, a pickup or a key item: glints popping, golden motes drifting up and a warm light.
A cursed, ground-hugging mist of dark violet with faint spectral lights drifting through it: a haunted crypt, a witch's swamp, a forbidden zone. Covers about 5 by 5 metres.
A protective bubble round a character: a shimmering sphere of light, brighter at its rim, hexagon cells flickering across it and sparkles crawling over its surface.

No. The Godot 4 project and the GameMaker project work on their own; Room 3D is where the effects were made, and you can open and change them there.
Yes. All three draw the particles with the same maths, worked out on the GPU from the time alone, so an effect plays the same way everywhere.
Most effects use 10 to 150 particles and 2 to 5 draw calls; the documents list each effect's numbers. A 256-pixel lite texture set is included for low-end devices.
No. Every texture and flipbook is drawn by code from noise, shapes and gradients, and every effect is set up by hand.
