Drone Corps

The front line is quiet until your drone is in the air. Join the 7th Drone Company as a new operator and fly FPV strikes through forests and river towns, hunt hidden armour with a thermal camera, and hold the bunker against swarms of enemy drones. One battery, one signal, one chance.

Drone Corps title screen: a Kestrel FPV drone over a misty pine valley

Three ways to fight

Varenia's mountains and river towns are under attack from the Ostrak Pact. Sergeant Voss talks you through every mission on the radio, and she calls you by the call sign you pick.

FPV strike

Fly a fast first-person striker down the valley to the target. Weak signal turns the picture to static, enemy jammers block whole ridges and the AA gun listens for your motors. Three stars: destroy the target, beat par time and lose no drone to the enemy.

Recon

The Owl is slow, steady and quiet, with a stabilised camera, 8x zoom and thermal. Find the tanks under the nets, the command post in the courtyard and the guns in the square, and mark them for the strikers without being spotted.

Base defence

Waves of swarm drones dive at the bunker or the field hospital. Place jammers and auto-turrets, upgrade between waves, and ram the fast ones yourself with the Hornet interceptor. The endless Defence mode keeps your best scores.

What's in it

Two theatres, seven missions

Pine Ridge (strike and recon in the Halden valley) and the Old Town of Dravik (under the bridge, the rooftop jammer, the hidden command post, the field hospital and Night Streets).

Five drones to fly

The Kestrel FPV striker, the heavy Bulldog, the Hornet interceptor, the Owl recon quad and the Nightjar night striker, each with its own speed, battery and payloads.

Three flight modes

Stabilised holds height and levels itself, Angle gives more control, and Acro flies like a real racing drone.

Endless Defence and Free Flight

Hold the Pine Ridge bunker as the waves get harder and beat your best score, or fly either map with no enemies and no clock to practise.

Your call sign

Pick one or type your own, and earn rare ones in the field.

Replays

Watch your last run again from the results screen and see where it went right, or wrong.

More chapters are on the way: the border farms, the river line and the Korsa dam.

System requirements

A desktop or laptop computer with a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari and WebGL 2. The game downloads about 75 MB the first time it loads; your browser keeps it after that. Phones and tablets may run out of memory: a computer is recommended.

Gamepads and radios

Xbox, PlayStation and most other controllers work: press a button once after the game loads so the browser shows it to the game. An FPV radio in USB joystick mode shows up as a controller too: set it up under Controls & Radio Calibration.

Made up, start to finish

Varenia, the Ostrak Pact and every place, flag and vehicle in Drone Corps are fictional. Targets are vehicles, equipment and enemy drones.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No ads, no account and no purchases in the browser version.

Where is my progress saved?

In your browser, on that computer: your stars, unlocked missions, call sign, best scores and settings are kept between visits. Clearing the browser's site data for guidrygames.com erases them.

The first load is slow.

The game is about 75 MB. After the first visit the browser keeps it, so it starts much faster.

The game runs slowly.

Open Settings and set the quality to Low or Medium, and close other tabs. A computer with a graphics card helps.

My controller does nothing.

Click in the game, then press any button on the controller: browsers only show a controller to a page after a button press.
